One
thousand acres of natural parkland provides a breathtaking backdrop to our
158 campsites. A natural park with loads of shade and woodland, this is the
ideal spot for campers looking for a little privacy. If you love nature,
this is the place to be, as deer and squirrel openly accept campers
into their environment. Our two private Lakes, Moore Lake and Serpent Lake, are perfect for group getaways
and ensure privacy and togetherness.
The park's community centre is ideal place for many family-oriented activities, such as crafts, games and our library. A children's playground provides hours of activity, while parents and older kids can enjoy volleyball, horseshoes, tennis and basketball. Occasionally, horseback riding is offered as a special summer adventure. Leslie park also is visited by Mr & Mrs Clause at Christmas in July.
Trout and bass are in abundance on Leslie Lake. Guests are free to explore the
lake using paddle boats, canoes and kayaks, all of which can be rented at the
park. A 1,800-foot supervised, sandy beach is a great spot to play and swim.
Four kilometers of hiking trails provide a scenic walk-around Moore Lake.
The trail is also accessible to those wishing to cycle.
